I'm Alexander Sin, an artist living and working from Los Angeles, California.
My work originates from my intrigue in both data manipulation and digital decay.
I make low-resolution, highly resolved pseudo-digital paintings. My work is an examination, destruction, and reconstruction of fragmented data. I use both mechanical and analog methods to produce my work. I find beauty in errors, glitches, and obsolesce therefore; introducing human error is a significant aspect of the work.
Here on this website you will find a digital archive of selected works. Everything shown within this interweb realm is just a representation of itself. The work has been transformed from it's native data state, to light, transmuted and then returned. Due to the nature of this digital journey all work viewed here is surely only a bastardized version of it's former self.
